The landlord at the the Woolpack has whole heartedly done his best to try to find a solution as to the alleged noise from live music/ band at this establishment. This is an amazing/ tradition public house and a place for people to enjoy live music. There are very few venues to see/ hear live bands and surely there must be a way to please both parties. Especially with the current state of affairs

In the words of Shakespeare, if music be the food of love play on. Peterborough is blessed with a good array of bands and musicians so we need venues for live music, not everybody likes to go to the city centre to pursue musical interests. Live music is good for the local economy.

Musicians also need to get back to normality. Don’t stop this. They also help our moods as they lift us up and by god we all need a bit of that at this times that hopefully are passing

These venues are culturally and socially important places, not only for bands and performers of all kinds, but to those who attend and the landlords who run them snd work damn hard to keep them going.
Its not just a pub with live music, its a meeting place with talented musicians that give local people a social life; which many wouldnt have otherwise.
Closing local venues can and does affect peoples mental health too. These venues breath life into people, as well as communities as a whole.
Let them continue doing the great job they do!

Have a meeting with the pub owner please. Take sound measurements and discuss what's acceptable.

We need live bands and venues willing to accommodate this. Restrictions maybe, landlord has done as he has been told, but give Peterborough what it needs and let a business thrive

Hard enough for landlords to make pubs viable without live music being removed.
Keep it real, keep it live !
We need live music to stay sane and grounded.
Save the music!
