I have been here and it has stood out as a welcoming and responsibly run venue. Live music is a key attraction to the pub trade. The pub trade that the councils and government have neglected in favour of huge bounties from town centre nightclubs and bars. People who move near a school expect traffic in school run hours. People who live near a takeaway expect food smells. (Some) People who live near a pub... expect it to behave like a library? Come on, get a grip...

Dave and his team have gone above and beyond for the community in Stanground - both young, old and inbetween- since taking the pub on. Previously the pub was completely under utilised and at risk of closing. What they have achieved particularly during the last year in light of covid is nothing short of miraculous. They have adapted and sought continual improvement while becoming a successful business. The Woolpack is a historic pub and one of the few we have left in the village and it would be devastating if it had to close. The live music is a crucial part of their offering which enables them to be a profitable business. I hope the council recognises the importance of the Woolpack for the community and the jobs it creates and works with it to find a solution so that it can continue its excellent work.

Yeah ive lived in Peterborough for over 50 years and this is one of the best pubs! Cant let the council do that to use, its in the CITY CENTRE!!! what do you expect.

Please keep the music playing. Complaints like these remind me of folks who move near Heathrow and then complain that aeroplanes make noise.

There arnt enough places for people to socailize these days the pub has been there for years let them be.
