Of course courtesy to neighbours is key but we need live music to feed our souls.

This is a lovely village pub that gives locals a chance to watch local acts & DJs, be a big shame if this comes to an end

We need to be supporting these venues and working with the owners is the only answer, we will miss it if it's gone.

The Woolpack has clearly worked with the council to put on live music responsibly. The hospitality and live music industries have both been inordinately affected by the pandemic lockdowns, so you would have thought the council would be working hard to support both these industries.

Come on PCC. Give this wonderful pub a break! And work with them and not against them. Live bands need great venues - pubs need live bands.

This is the only local that offers anything of this kind in terms of entertainment the effort put in by all is clear to see. Don’t take this away!

A lot of hard work has gone into that pub recently. You have to ask was the pub there when you bought the house? Compromise!

Unbelievable at last some doing something for the local community and local talented musicians and because of some people who does not appreciate talent and hard work, they are trying to stop such an amazing gesture by the owners of the Woolpack.

In these times we all need as much entertainment as we can get .we don’t need a few killjoys to spoil the majority fun

It would be very upsetting for a local pub to be restricted on how much noise it can make due to its location. This pub is the last remaining in the village and needs to be allowed to breath and do what it needs to survive.
