A great venue to play and the staff work very hard to bring some entertainment to people in difficult times. Keep going, woolpack!

A lot of work has gone into the Woolpack pub, well done David and his team. You have to ask the council was the pub there before they bought the house.

Peterborough has been struggling with a lack of live music venues for years now and this is another blow to our dwindling night life. The woolpack is a great community pub with great staff and look forward to seeing more live bands there hopefully sooner than later.

The woolpack is a great place to go and watch live music, please don't take the license just reduce the times and dB levels

If we cannot enjoy a bit of live music in a lovely setting then what is the world coming to? Let them play! You can make noise up until 11pm so I don’t see the issue with 7-10pm for the music to be loud.

Dave and his team have put their heart and soul into this venue. As if the past year hasn’t been a big enough worry for the pub sector. Give them a break!!! Don’t like what they offer the community? Then move......Don’t live near a pub!!

I love live music, I am confined to a wheelchair I will find one of the only places I can really enjoy. People should be more considerate, as the bands do stop a lot earlier than they ever used to

Great pub giving the community entertainment. I am sure that the council can work with the publican to come to an compromise which would make all parties happy. Keep up the great work Dave.

Great community venue that has adhered to all rules through the last year, now is the time to give them support not place restrictions on them.

This pub is amazing. Dave and his team have worked so hard to turn this pub around so that is attracts all people, young and old. It supports the community, employs a lot of staff and welcomes everyone with open arms. The live music events are fantastic. This benefits not just the pub but also allows musicians and entertainers to support themselves and promote their groups Without pubs like The Woolpack, their earnings would reduce. There are not many pubs left who serve the best food, in particular their Sunday roasts, put on events so the elderly are not isolated and alone, form a community by putting on a quiz every week, but nothing is better than the live music. If this was to stop, staff would lose their jobs and the pub would inevitably lose customers as they would go elsewhere for music. Please don't let this happen here. Stanground would never be the same.
