After such a depressing year, to finally have the opportunity to inject some social and entertainment to the community is essential! The self serving and selfish behaviour from the minority will undo all the hard work the staff have put in to bring some much needed enjoyment to the community…we cant lose another venue in this city!

Great venue bringing friends together and a community hub which in turn supports local craftsmen with a place to meet

We should be supporting local pubs especially in the current climate.
A couple of negative comments vs 100's of us who just want a lovely evening out, a drink and listen to some good live music.
Use it or lose it!

The pub is the hub of the village. Been there longer than most of the houses. Don't like noise buy in the country. Ridiculous to prevent something that puts a smile on people's faces. Struggling business making customers happy. Shame some people have nothing better to do than complain.

People have to expect noise from pubs it's not every night and after a year of closure pubs are trying to recover.
People soon moan when pubs close

People have had enough restrictions to suffer over the past year or so. They need to get back to some kind of normality, and live music is a normal social outlet from the mundane llifestyle caused by lockdown.

Dave has done everything possible to hold this community together throughout this pandemic. Local pubs are closing down in droves & his commitment to his local area has been superb. Dave is a local lad trying to bring some soul back into the area he grew up in & loved. Surely 1 night of live music could be tollerated ! PCC work with him not against him.

Whether they needed to or not, it feels as if the measures taken to start/finish events earlier, along with reducing the frequency of live events, means they should continue putting on live entertainment

It is great to have a pub that wants to support local bands and they should be allowed to continue. If you don't want noise don't buy a house near a pub. Pubs are struggling enough at the moment and complaints like this don't help. It appears the landlord is doing everything to keep residents happy. Let's continue to.support the Woolpack
