It’s a great night at the Woolpack listening to music with friends and others in the community Needs to continue as it has kept us going through the pandemic

Right now more than ever we need our community, local pub and music. Really hoping the council shows good common sense. This city in general is too quiet. Let’s get that back with music in our locals & a buzzing, vibrant city centre - like it used to be - cheers :-)

After all this country has gone through over the last year you would think that people would be pleased to have the opportunity to be able to go to their local and have a beer and some entertainment. Time for council to come out and support these businesses with help and ideas of how best to mitigate these complaints and perhaps for the complainants themselves to be a bit more supportive of a local pub trying to make a living, something that is not easy these days.

This man has done his very best to survive a year of Covid lockdowns, ploughed his money and energy to build a place for the community to visit and enjoy and should be applauded for wanting to host music acts in his venue, thereby helping out members of a badly hit industry. Locals should be cheering him on, not trying to damage his business. Come on Council get behind him and support this Peterborough business.

The woolpack is the hub off a community which sadly in this day and age has managed to exist elsewhere with all we have been through as a proud British nation all I can say is save the Woolpack and all it does and stands for.

This is a valuable asset to the trade of the pub. Courteous to all and a brilliant local pub. The only place worth visiting

Best pub in the land, best owner in the land. The things that man has done for this community is absolutely amazing!
The moaners need to get down there for a couple of pints and experience the incredible atmosphere.

Now more than ever we need music, especially live. If the Woolpack has made efforts to comply with restrictions then surely it can be accomadated that they continue with live music. We have lost so many things due to the pandemic, let us not lose a precious art.
