They've done such a great job to ensure people can enjoy a safe night out at last!
There soon won't be any places left if they all have to stop providing entertainment. It's not all about getting everyone into a city centre these days!

Seems you have done what you can, reason council is ducking you is simple, the legal limit of 34 dbA is pathetic and can not be achieved when offering live music. Maybe tey to raise some funds to get the place soundproofed? A lot of sound guys can help with cost efficient ideas. Totally agree that people should have known when they moved in next to a pub, f'in killjoys - good luck Woolpack

Appears to be a recent complaint about something that's been happening for years. Think someone shouldn't have moved into a property near a pub.

They have a license for live music so an automatic abatement notice is not appropriate. Work with our pubs instead of condemning them!

At a time when pubs and live acts need support the council should be doing more to support them efforts to minimise the noise and find a compromise not just slap an abatement order on the pub!!

Council should think well if only 1 certain resdenit is complainig and others not and also put noise monitor in house i agree with pub to have a meeting
