we closed neighborhood elementary schools in cocoa beach and it had disastrous effects on the fabric of identity. I am against the closing of Atlantic Beach Elementary. Retired 30 year teacher, Brevard County.

Please Save our public schools for the future of our children, our nation and our world. Who in their ‘right winged’ mind could truly support or believe this is the right thing to do for our children and community?!?

ABE is successful school which I believe has increased enrollment over the years. The school is innovative , inspiring leadership and confidence in the children. Removing the school would negatively impact our community, our property taxes, and the positive attractions for young families.

Closing a school only increases the population of already overcrowded classrooms. The number of teachers in the school does not increase. As a retired teacher and a DCPS sub I am opposed to K to 8 schools. This school should remain open!
