I gave my mother a mobile phone but she doesn't know how to use it well, she would like a landline with an old model with buttons.

Lands are vital where I live as when the power goes down the new system won’t work. I’m 70 now and would have no contact with anyone during a power cut.

We need to be able to choose, not all people are up for loosing the current system and are at risk of being marginalized

It is absolutely essential and a question of respect for the Elders of our community that landlines be preserved until all people over the age of 60 now have died. Otherwise, we are committing a crime against those for whom technology remains terrifying, incomprehensible, impossible to understand, unaffordable. It is wrong to assume that all people everywhere want to be attached to technology. I myself am a gardener. I look at technology only at the end of the day

False economy in this age of danger of Cyber crimes against our digital world. Keeping the copper network provides a fallback safety net!

J have no mobile signal: No near relatives, live remotely and suffer from Long Covid, I desperately rely on my copper land line- with extension phones 24 hr power cut this Jan. 50 hr plus power cut in 2025. Have been hassled to change over a number of times at very short notice. Am cancelling each time but VERY stressful; Exacerbates my Long Covid symptoms each time. I need my copper land line!

We need to keep our copper landlines as a priority, so we are not completely dependent on the internet/broadband, which cuts out when there are powercuts.

To lose the landline would be a disaster for many people.

EE is bullying us, but could only hold a conversation over the landline as the mobile coverage is so bad and the broadband so slow and unreliable.
