A great & enjoyable place to get a cup of coffee in The Kingsway. An important social hub in The Kingsway & would be terribly missed if closed!!

Completely agree with John’s summary.

This has been my 2nd home since moving to The Kingsway in 1998. During COVID I stood outside every day to continue to buy drinks, support this location and ensure it stayed open. I frequent it 2-3 X/day and my sons buy a drink daily before hopping on the subway. I realize Starbucks expects everyone will migrate to Thompson (blocks away vs the coffee shop 1 block away). Have you considered the positive spinoff the subway, LCBO & parking (which Thompson doesn’t have), have on your business? In addition if you are trying to combine 2 locations then half the staff at both locations should be staying. The team at Grenview are outstanding and to transfer only a handful is disrespectful to them and the community. Will I go to Thompson? Probably, but only 1x/day because it’s inconvenient and you’re not retaining enough staff. My sons won’t. Business from our family will reduce by 80%. if this is a lease issue I’m sure you can afford it so please reconsider.

Love this Starbucks and would have to see it gone from the neighbourhood!
