The CDC, Academy of Pediatrics and Douglas County Health Department recommend masks for those who are not vaccinated. Ages 12 and under are not able to be vaccinated, masks should be mandatory.

Public safety is more important than personal choice - our kids deserve the opportunity for the best education and they can't do that if they're sick.

We want our children in school, but we cannot continue knowingly sending them to an unsafe environment. I will not disregard the COIVD safety precautions recommended by medical experts and put my children in harm's way. MPS needs to ensure that children have a safe learning environment.

Please make the children's health a priority so they can continue to learn in-person with minimal disruptions.

Ask your self would you enter a closed environment for 8+ hours where known exposure have occurred? Risk your own life, not my children.

“Personal choice” in masking will not stop the spread. We have to protect our children and being “anti-mask” is not a valid point of view. It defies all legitimate science and puts the health of the public in danger. It is not a valid stance and it should not, and never should have been, indulged.
