Please implement proactive measures to protect students and staff within MPS.
My daughter was born with a heart defect, which caused lasting respritory issues. She desparately wants to return to class in person, but we won't risk her life to do so.

I am a grandparent of two Millard students. Both of these boys wear their masks at school with no problem. I think the rest of the students could too. It’s some of the parents that have the problem. Let’s listen to the Medical experts and have everyone wear a mask at school until we beat this virus.

Mark help prevent spread of infectious disease. It's not an opinion it's a fact. By but requiring masks you are actively endangering lives.

As a pediatric nurse and mom of three children at Millard, two of which are vaccinated, universal masking is necessary. Please do the right thing for everyone and implement masking for everyone.

I have one child with a heart defect and one who can't be vaccinated yet. We DO NOT have spread under control in our community and more children are being hospitalized. I would rather see children be a little uncomfortable at school than see them in the hospital. The fact that this is even a debate is insane to me. The doctors say masking and vaccination is the best way to beat this. Why on Earth would we not follow that advice!? Political conspiracy theories and personal discomfort are a crappy excuse to continue letting people die. I'm extremely disappointed in the Millard School Board for not requiring masks.

Masking across NE should mandatory. We need to protect our community.

Why wouldn't you follow the CDC guidelines and science. I don't want my child's life at risk because of notbwea

I don't live in Millard, but in a close by district. Keeping our kids safe will help reduce spread in the wide community as well. I wish all districts in Douglas County follow CDC and Douglas County recommendation to enforce masks for at least K-6.

As a pediatrician I am already seeing tragically rising numbers of cases of covid and about every virus under the sun. Masking, social distancing and handwashing are essential for the safety of children and staff
