This was my elementary school back in 1999 and I'm still in contact with my first and most favorite pre-k teacher Mrs. Palomo, she was always a great role model for me. The community in this school from the principal and the custodians to even just the environment converted me into the joyful and posetive 19 year old I am today!:)

This is not the way to treat our educators. We are trying to keep them not run them off. It is bad enough the system does not pay them their worth. Just Saying.

If my kid were enrolled at this school in this grade level, enrollment would drop further. I'd find a way to get him out of there. How about we cut the pay of the S.I. to accommodate having class sizes that are efficient and geared towards making sure EACH student has the opportunity to succeed.

As an elementary teacher, I know what a difference class size makes. Class size effects so much more than instruction. It effects student- teacher relationships.

As a former teacher in AISD, I have always felt that a manageable class size is crucial to student learning and overall success at school.
