Scouting is an important part of providing life skills to young people and should be protected at all costs. The only exception to pulling a hall down is if the housing company or council will provide you with a new Hall, meeting your exact requirements.

I've never been a scout but I found it a really good adventure for youngsters with a loads of fun and learning. It brings them closer to the nature too.

This is absolutely disgusting. This Group is providing something unique to the Community (and don't forget Scouting is open to all), and some absentee landlord thinks he can destroy it for a small profit?

Scouting has been a part of this area for over 100 years and for the benefit of children it must continue. Scouting teaches children respect and important life skills.

It's my understanding 11 flats a 4 houses are to be built.. what a ludicrous idea.. you can barely fit 1 car up the entrance lane so how the blazers are the occupants supposed to maneuver theirs. ...emergency services will struggle too .. The scout hut as been there for years.. and it's part of the community. ... leave it alone. ...

If you really must build on this land, you could at least build a new HQ for the Scouts to use in the same area, Scouting help everyone in the community not just the young people in the group.

This is a community building so should not be subject for change of use. It is a community resource which has been in constant use for over 50 years. Unless another home is found for the Scouts they will lose everything!
