The Peaks is definitely a Utah County facility - not just Provo - that would be sorely missed if it were not there. My family lives in Orem. My son is in the hockey program, both of my kids have taken Learn to Skate lessons and our local youth groups hold activities there at least twice a year. Utah County needs an ice rink!

I have a son who plays on two adult teams, a grandson that plays on a youth team,another who wants to this new season two granddaughters that take figure skating lessons, one of which will need a coach when fall comes because she wants to keep going. Please save the peaks.

This would be devastating to my family. My son has grown so much with the amazing hockey program the Peaks has. He has gained confidence being on the ice. We don't live in Provo, and we travel down there to play. This is a UTAH COUNTY asset and should be treated as such. Utah county is LUCKY that Provo has put in so much time and effort and should continue to support such an amazing arena.

Our son started playing hockey when he was 8. He played there as a high schooler. It would be a shame to be shut down. Where would the Utah County High School teams play? As well as the little people?
