Not the first time this issue has come up, just the latest. Closing the Peaks, denying tens of thousands of skaters, family members and spectators a sole venue is myopic and ridiculous.

Please don't close our rink! It is our home away from home my husband and two boys play hockey there and my daughter does figure skating. We are there 5/7 days a week we will all be heartbroken if Peaks closes its doors!

The Peaks Ice Arena has been home away from home to my teenage daughter for over six years. She has learned not only skating skills but has developed self confidence, leadership skills, and great friendships. Peaks is a valuable addition to the community, not just to Provo City residents but to the hundreds of figure skaters, hockey players, and soccer players who train hard and play hard at the facility. Shutting it down would be devastating.

Please fund the rink! The value it adds not only to people of all ages is immeasurable but it is also sometimes the only safe place some people know. Please do not take that away.

I hope the ice skating rink doesn't close it's doors my little girl loves ice skating this has help her be more social and sure of her self and proud that she could learn to skate and that someday she will be a great skater.

Please don't take away the arena. Let kids have a safe place to be kids. You are taking away a place where people go to enjoy ice skating and hockey. Have a heart and leave the arena alone.

This rink has developed so much talent and has the potential to continue to do so. Not only are athletes made here, but individuals are able to escape and participate in what they love! #keeppeaks

My kids have skated here since my oldest was 4. My husband proposed to me on the south rink, where we had our first date. My sons play, live, breathe hockey here, as does my husband. My girls figure skate here. Please save the rink!!

Grew up playing high school hockey here along with all of my siblings. Would be terrible to see this go...brings such great value to the community and all of utah.
