The closing of this ice rink would be a sad thing for the entire Utah hockey community. So many games and tournaments are played at this facility. I hope the County rethinks this poor suggestion and I home Utah County voters look at who suggested this during the next Utah County election and really analyze whether their political leaders and truly making decisions for their constituents. Between hockey, figure skating and open skate, plus the two indoor soccer fields this facility brings so much to Utah County. I've never been there when it isn't busy.

With UVU hockey on the uprising and byu hockey both competing at the peaks it creates a fantastic fun environment for fans, family's, and anybody looking for a family fun event just in the aspect of college hockey. Not to mention, indoor soccer, laccorsse, rugby, and free skating, and figure skating. There's no way we can let this go down. The community would be very very disappointed if this goes down.

Please keep the rink! Such a great place to come and enjoy family time. Utah County children need a place they can experience ice skating and watch hockey!

I spend 7 hrs. a week at the rink and absolutely love it. Keep it open.

I LOVE coming to this Rink to watch my nephews and niece play hockey, as a hockey family myself my own sons play here against the provo team sooo often. It breaks my heart to see that this is happening! SAVE THE RINK!!

For some people, Peaks is a really place of safety and happiness and where we go to do what we love. By shutting Peaks down, I need to drive over an hour away to continue to do what I love.

Hockey/skating/ringette is an amazing outlet for any kids wanting to play. Teaches them many life lessons they will cherish and bring with them through adolescence and adulthood.

My brother played hockey for years and absolutely loved it. I would have for any other kids growing up to miss out on the chance to play.

The county wants to build new offices and this is their way of getting a little portion of the money to fund it?
Over $170,000 per year??? This isn't a money issue, it's a political issue. It's a selfish political fight.
