I have played at this rink my whole life. We just got the UVU hockey club back which in time will be good for hockey in Utah county, Utah county needs this rink!

The Peaks Ice Areana in Provo offers a unique opportunity for our youth to play hockey and ice skate. Please consider keeping this great venue for sports and play in our community.

Please don't take away recreation and exercise from people who seek it out. People pay good money for hockey and figure skating.

I am an Ice Skating coach at the Peaks Ice arena. Ice skating has been apart of my life since the 2002 Olympics (the primary reason that the rink was opened). Ice skating is something that molded my life and helped me grow in more ways than my public education ever did. It helped me meet inspiring people and see the world differently. I am currently teaching several students as a private instructor and a LTS instructor , at the Peaks Ice Arena with the hope to do the same for other peoples lives. It would be devastating for many people if the rink had to close. Many are already making large sacrifices to travel from surrounding cities in Utah county, and most will not be able to sacrifice more my driving to the nearest facility in Murray.

Rinks like these are what help kids of all ages to grow, find something they love, and in some cases find themselves through college. If Utah county wants to help out students then don't take away something that will change their future.

Please don't stop supporting the rink. You will hurt many children who use it for hockey, skating, etc. Activities for youth are already difficult to find. Continue to invest in our kids please.

Please allow us to keep enjoying such an amazing facility. It recreational worth is immeasurable, many of my family members play soccer, I play hockey, my children take skating classes and constantly gather with friends to skate. Please don't take that away from us...
