This facility is a staple to the community of Utah county. As a tax payer, peaks arena patron and lifelong Utah county resident, i an asking our elected officials to reconsider their decision to back out of thier arrangement with peaks ice arena.

Don't pull something that is so valuable to our community!!!
It's the only ice skating rink around and it's more than just hockey! It's figure skating, indoor soccer, running, rugby and so much more!
Please don't take this jem away from Utah Valley residents!
I know it's valuable because I every time I go there it's busy. No brainer.

I live in Salt Lake County, but continue to use this facility regularly (giving my money to several Utah county businesses in the process). Closing this facility would not only directly damage Provo, and thus the county, but would also directly damage many other county residents and businesses.

It would be heartbreaking for my family and all others families who are involved in ice sports to see the Provo Peaks ice arena close it's doors. It has been so nice to have another sporting option besides football, soccer, baseball etc. which are so saturated with players that not everyone has the opportunity to play. Please keep the ice arena open for the enjoyment, recreation and opportunity of all utah county families. :) Thank you

I've used the Peaks arena at least weekly for many years. I don't live in Provo, and neither do most of the people I compete and play soccer with here. Shutting it down would be a huge loss for so many people, as it's the only facility of its type in all of Utah County. In addition to the sports that myself and many other people play here, I've seen countless numbers of youth and family groups use the arena for activities and gatherings. Please continue to fund it. Losing it would be a tragedy for the entire county.

Opportunities for the citizens of Utah County, and especially its youth, to engage in positive, healthy and constructive recreational activity should be supported and encouraged by local government. Pulling funding from the Peaks Ice Arena is short-sighted. I urge the Utah County Congress to maintain and even increase the present level of taxpayer financial support for the rink. Thank you. I live in Pleasant Grove and the peaks arena houses most all of my activities. Losing the arena would honestly be divistating not only to me but to a large proportion of the Utah community. I use the area 3-4 times a week and it's one of the things making Utah such a great place to live.

The Provo Peaks Ice Arena is a vital construction with in the Utah County community due to the fact that the rink took part in hosting the 2002 Olympic Games. In addition, the Provo Peaks Ice Arena is central to the hockey community in Utah and spreads joy to families who attend the rink in both summer and winter. It would be a shame to see the rink diminish without sufficient funding.
