I took a ice skating class here and others should have the same opportunity. The answer is marketing not shutting down.

There are no ice rinks already between Murray and Provo. Keep Peaks open! Skating is a wonderful life-long sport.

My kids play hockey at the Utah Olympic Oval and have played many games at the Provo peaks arena. There is not another rink for hockey and ice skating in the south end of the salt lake valley. Closing this arena would not be great for the Provo community.

I was a figure skater for 9 years. Figure skating taught me to be persistent, focused, and to have huge amounts of perseverance. These qualities have helped me immensely as a new entrepreneur and to be successful in all areas of my life.
Rec centers like this are important because they allow kids to learn qualities like this by simply participating in a sport. Keep funding in the rec center to invest in the future generations to come. Don't give kids another excuse to get on devices and never play or be active outside.
When you give kids activities and exercise in this way you are setting them up for success. Please continue to set them up for success!

It would be a travesty to get rid of this because local leaders are being a bunch of buttheads.
