It's rare for a location with our population to have such an amazing facility. Probably more than half of the people who skate at the rink come from communities surrounding Provo.
To the County Commission: the Peaks Arena is truly a valuable resource for Utah County as well as Provo. Please don't abandon it!

Resident of Spanish Fork and I have been using the Peaks ice arena for about 13 years now. The discussion should be adding additional rinks to Utah County, not taking them away and ruining a successful hockey program.

Learning to play hockey and get good at it here at the Peaks has been one of the funnest experiences of my adult life!! Save the Peaks!!!!!!

We drive to Provo three times a week for Hockey and it's the best thing that ever happened to my son. It is an all consuming passion-and healthy! It's also been a great way for our family to get close. Closing the arena will have a negative impact on so many people--figure skaters, youth groups, learn to skate, hockey, adult hockey, indoor soccer as well as employees. Please let us keep the Peaks Arena.

As a kid, I played hockey here. My parenta wouldn't buy my pads or equipment so I saved up the money because I wanted to play hockey more than anything! I used to work during Highschool so I could put gas in my truck to drive from pleasant grove to prove at 5 am before school to go to hockey practice! I still play hockey here, I go on dates ice skating often, I am a college student and I love going to college night! This place is super close to my heart, please don't let it go!!

Shutting this down would be a HUGE mistake. Do you know how many people fall in love on the ice?? Please don't give kids one more reason to go home and stare at their smartphones.
