Save our Gym Classes.. Abbey Leisure Centre, Barking..

Please do not take Friday evening classes off timetable. It was buzzing with people tonight and great atmosphere. I request to the MANAGER in charge for classes should stay and see how those precious member of everyone active was enjoying the class with Laz.

I have done body pump class on Friday 6pm. The class was almost full and buzzing. Really enjoyed and seen other participants enjoyed too. I want to make a sensior request to the management to keep this class on timetable PLEASE.

I am really angry with Everyone Active, cutting the classes, insanity is my favourite with Laz that’s takes it, she is fabulous, and the rest of the Aerobic team, if the classes do not come back, I am definitely cancelling my membership

I would like to see Zumba classes brought back

Keep the classes, DON’T cut them, Laz Classes are brilliant and the other instructors classes are also brilliant, i am seriously thinking of cancelIing my membership, just hope the leisure centres go back to the council to run

Our Community Sports Centres, Barking & Becontree leisure centres was renowned for its Aerobic classes, I’m talking proper organised fitness classes, taken by professional Aerobic fitness instructors, all been DESTROYED by Everyone Active, by cutting the classes that members enjoy, the classes bring people together, as a community, we have now lost a studio, they have filled it up with Boxing, Everyone Active is a very cold uncaring, soulless company, that break up communities, they turn sports centres into hard corporate businesses, I will be cancelling my membership.

What a HORRID company Everyone Active really is, all about profit, paying members like the classes, and Laz class Insanity was brilliant , fancy axing that, all the Aerobic instructors are brilliant, it’s great to share and do classes with other members and get to know other members that way, but Everyone Active have destroyed that, just a HORRID company, based on profit only, now we have a boxing ring in one of the studio’s, that brings it down to 2 studio’s only, half the spin bikes have been sold off, majority of the ones that are left are crap, but Everyone Active couldn’t care less, this company takes over leisure facilities and runs them into the ground, just hope it goes back to council ASAP.

Please do not reduce classes. Please keep the classes and keep the instructors care for us.

I hoped everyone active will IMPROVE the facilities when they took over. 3 years ago Abbey Leusure Centre started with 80 classes a week now down to 29 and from April 26 and out of 26 they only have 2 or 3 instructors to teach and cut loads of GOOD instructors. The gym is losing some good people who cares for members. So I have cancelled my membership and I think there will more leaver than joiner and that will take EA more down the hill.

Please do not take daytime classes on that are already running. I have just done a class at 9:45am insanity absuletly loved it and now seen that it's not on timetable from April. I like Body Combat on Saturday that's also gone!!! Has someone actually gone crazy? Please someone responsible can do something for the members are craving for classes. I did not sign in budget gym just round the corner as they run their classes by in house PT who has no interest running classes but forced to do so and now seems like everyone active is doing the same thing but membership price is still lot higher than the budget gym 2 minutes away. So why no I cancel EA and join the gym group?

I come to the gym for daytime classes. At everyone active the classes are amazing. There aren't lot of classes but I attend Thursday 9:45am insanity and Friday 10am pump and now these are taken off from April. Someone need to look and think carefully what they are doing? The numbers in classes are like 12/18 ladies at least every week and all these people are going to have heart broken!! Not good service to community and helping mums coming to the gym after dropping their kids off to school.

Keep classes going

We had 3 sports halls, now we have 2, As Everyone Active decided to put boxing in one of the studios, boxing has a place, but not in a leisure centre, it should have its own place, but a Everyone Active have probably seen it as a nice little earner for Everyone Active, they have sold off the majority of the spin bikes, and the ones that are left are not in good order, but they don’t seem to care, as Everyone Active is just all about Profit, doesn’t care less about its members, I am going to cancel my membership as i enjoyed the Aerobic classes, and Laz classes, which this horrible company has cancelled; Everyone Active is such a rotten company.

I have heard very bad things about this company, they take over Council run facilities and destroy them. Fancy cutting Aerobic classes, people like these activities, and the instructors are of top quality, the classes bring people together, as a community, Plus health benefits, some people do not like using gyms. All Everyone Active is about, is Profit, it doesn’t Care less if it destroy’s activities, which involve communities, such a POOR company, should have its license taken away, and the person who made the decision from Barking council to let Everyone Active run the two leisure centres should be FIRED.

Where does one start, prices are horrendous, seen other state of the art Gyms for way less. The Gym is fading away rapidly, classes being cancelled, and they have such top class Aerobic instructors, most staff feel embarrassed by all the changes as they have been TUPE over and its all out of their hands, what CLOWN decided to allow this terrible company Everyone Active to take over the two leisure centres, clearly it was all about the Money and who's pocket it would line. Everyone Active is all about profit, never mind the leisure centres being a service to the council tax paying community, Everyone Active coukdn’t Care less about that. What a BAD company.

Classes are what brought me here, no classes no membership. If you cancel classes I will definitely cancel my membership.

Stop changing what’s not broken. Since this company has taken over its gone to crap. From classes being cut to using exercise equipment that takes forever to get repaired. Please bring back council.

It’s disgusting that they are cutting classes, as this is a service to the community, the hygiene has gone do an hill, as they have cut cleaners, I don’t agree with a private company like Everyone Active running the leisure facilities.

I am so angry with this new company Everyone Active, they should be thrown out, these classes are wonderful, the instructors are amazing, more than what I can say about the management, they are pretty USELESS, Everyone Active I want OUT!!!, the council should take back both centres, not give to a company that just sees everything as profit, the leisure centres are a service to the community, this is what I contrubute my council tax to, if the classes are cut I will be cancelling my membership, it’s that simple.
