Save our Gym Classes.. Abbey Leisure Centre, Barking..

Someone made a wrong decision regarding Laz's classes. She teaches 3 classes and management has taken all 3!! I heard because of the class numbers not high enough WTH!!!! if the class numbers are low as 2/3 people I would understand however on Thursday morning her class brings atleast 12 to 18 people and on Friday evening is the same so it's sufficient enough to keep these classes going. Something is not right they have unfairly dismissed Laz. It's very clear. I hope she raise complain and so they can look into the matter and then give her classes back. I can't wait to hear that and I hope and so I can continue with the classes.

Its unfair how the cancel our insanity class at Abbey Leisure Centre

Just checked a Everyone Active job vacancies on Leisure Opportunities, they are advertising 556 vacancies, now that has to tell you something about the company that has taken our Abbey & Becontree centres over, “APPALLING”, to have that many vacancies spread across different sites, it’s got to be an APPALLING company to work for, I am sadden to see LAZ go, as she was such a professional instructor, but I think in the long run it will be better for her. What you will see at Abbey & Becontree, all the old staff will leave, and you will get a heavy turn of of staff all the time, this shows you that this company doesn’t care less about its staff, as they are always replaceable, what an APPALLING Employer. It’s just a business. As a member I was getting a reduced service, as the classes have been cut, but still paying full price. I have joined PURE GYM, BECTON, £11 a month, it’s 24 hours, and has loads of classes, the people who are upset with Abbey, come down PUR GYM, BECTON, you will like it.

I have left that Abbey Spirts centre, run by that USELESS company Everyone Active, I have joined “PURE GYM”, Becton, so much better and so much cheaper and 24 hours, plenty of good classes which I enjoy , JOIN PURE GYM, so much better, and do much cheaper. £11 a month, and 24 hours as well

My wife enjoy every day in these classes!!!

Lazurias classes are the best at Abbey Leisure Ctr. Please keep them going. Do not close them.

Keep classes and instructors, if classes get cut I will cancel my membership, the Aerobic instructors are brilliant, I don’t use gym, just like classes. Love Laz classes and Insanity, I am in my home country, Poland at the moment but coming back soon, so don’t cut the classes.

Don’t cancel insanity classes. These classes are strong and great workout to lose weight. Instructor Laz brings so much energy to the class that motivate us to come to the gym just for her class.

Why this management taking classes off timetable? Insanity class on Thursday 9:45am has very good numbers and Friday 7pm. I attend and see full class!

Please add some insanity class during daytime and evening

Stop the madness of cutting classes. Please read and see and respond to all these member's voices. The man agent is showing no interest of listening to us.

Please don't let Laz go. She is an amazing, energetic instructor at abbey. We get motivated in her class.
