Baltimore City Public Schools are about to postpone the graduation date for the Class of 2016 due to snow days. The reason this is important is because our school system is so diverse, people have family flying in from different locations and they have already have taken off for that day and is difficult to change. This not only put the Class of 2016 who worked so hard to graduate, but the family of those students. Please sign this petition to help the voiceless have a say!

Like many parents plans have been made for the original date. A catered party can't be rescheduled at this late date. Please go back to the original date.
As a Digital Harbor Alumni from the class of 2015 i cannot say i approve of this new date for their graduations. It can create a very bad strain on family members who might have already called off in advance. Let alone for students who might need to start looking for jobs and getting their lives together for college.
Changing the graduation date is a major disservice to the students and their families. Graduation is a very important date, and there are many students who have invited relatives from all over the world. The Digital Harbor C/O 2016 DESERVES to graduate on the original date of May 29th.
We need our dates to go back to they were I have family coming in from greace and Italy for it and they already booked their hotel and got the tickets. Most of us high school students that are planing to go to the army have to start training it's not fair they can get in trouble if they don't go.
I think this should really be taken in consideration. After all these years of hard work, My mother, the most influential person in my life, is risking of not being able to attend my graduating. This is tearing me apart.
We need this day back
This is an very important day for the seniors as it was for me. Last year They have been waiting for this moment for four years why prolong it.
