Offering g such an amazing program is absolutely a must. Students need to explore and learn about themselves ans their interests. Not everyone is interested in Academics or Trades. Imagine what life would be like if we didn't have tv shoes and movies or music to listen to. Taking away these opportunities for our youth will not only affect their future potential, but also affect our future too. There was such a push in the past for people to go to university, now their is a lack of people in trades. The samething will happen to the arts. School is about giving youth the opportunity to learn and explore their interests, skills and talents.

It is Norwel’s hands on/interactive programs like APP, LEAF, CELP and the sports program that make Norwel so special and attractive for students to go to. To remove even one of these would be a mistake and a huge loss for our community.

I am a huge supporter of arts AND athletics. However, it doesn’t seem fair that one program will continue while the other is cut. Norwell needs to promote equity amongst all students and recognize that not all students will choose athletics over arts. Both options are important and necessary.

I went to see Beauty and the Beast and it was fantastic. This course is needed at this school. Please do not cancel it. This is also great for community involvement plus there are a number of younger kids coming up through the Grey Wellington Theatre Guild that will need this program to carry on!!!

This is a very important program for many students ! This should not be cut because of number of students ! This should be given to those who are in need of this for the better of these students education ! This is unthinkable that this is being cut ! These students deserve better!

As a former student and Theatre Norwell alumni I can say with confidence that the arts programming at the school is a fundamental aspect of student well being.
