It's very upsetting to me that Gary would be removed from his loving home. He provides therapy for the family and is no different than having a dog, cat bird or any other animal. Council should take a very had look at this bylaw, it's insane

This bylaw is absurd. Gary the pig is no different than having a dog, cat or bird. He should be able to stay with his parents and family in their loving home.

Gary is not a farm animal she is a pet. she lies in the house not in the barn. What quality makes a dog, cat, lizard, or a parrot a pet? Two are mammals, one is a reptile and the other is a bird. Gary is a mammal and is a lot smaller than many dogs in Oakville. Gary is quieter than many parrots or dogs.
Oakville should end discrimination against pigs

If he sleeps in his owners bed he's not a farm animal. Farm animals are located on farms. Because they are too big to be in a back yard. This pig is smaller than a small dog. And probably smarter than 95 percent of dog owners. And a lot quieter than 95 percent of small dogs. Your reason for taking him is invalid.
