Therapy pets should be allowed to stay with their families. Pigs are lovely animals and should be allowed to live with their human companions.

It's fine to keep farm animals in captivity their entire lives before being sent to slaughterhouses, but against the law to keep them as a pet? Ridiculous. Pigs are sentient beings and as capable of giving as much love as a cat or dog. Speciesism for sure. Just let the pig live at its home.
