(Save OUR Fish) Cormorant Population Control needed throughout the U.S.

Population needs to be controlled.

We need control measures all over the state. I’m from Pentwater and have a artificial reef at the Ludington pump storage power facility and the cormorants have taken refuge there and are definitely hurting all of our fish species Thanks for your efforts.

These birds are seriously depleting our valuable fish populations. We need to take bold steps to mitigate their ability to damage these resources.

Too many birds

From my observations these birds are hardly "endangered" any more, and definitely need to be controlled.

We need to eliminate these birds and protect our fish populations for sport fishing!

We need to control the population on our local east texas lakes. They are a severe problem with both fish and duck habitat

I see these birds all over Texas gobbling up fish ! In fact fishing Lake Whitney Texas this morning there were at least 100 of them roosting in the dead trees in the lake!

Something has got to be done

They are all over the devils lake/ stump lake area. I think this would be a great thing to happen

These birds don't seem to be anything but a nuisance. From all the fish that they eat to the vegetation that they destroy in their nesting areas. I can't think of one positive thing that they do.

Release racoons at their nesting sights .

Cormorants are a huge issue here in Southern California. I've watched lakes that were full of Shad and bluegill get reduced to nothing. San Vicente, lake mira mar, lake Poway, lake Dixon and lake Jennings. As the shad and baitfish populations drop you see the fisheries get worse. Lakes are ecosystems and while most now a days practice catch and release, unfortunately cormorants do not. Eating 12lbs of fish every single day. Typically you see 20-50 plus birds at all the lakes with shad that could do end up like the bodies of water listed above. These birds are destroying vital parts of these fragile lakes ecosystems. Shad it self is vital to lakes ecosystem. They are devastating our beautiful lakes we love so much

These birds are detrimental to small ponds and lakes! They eat more than they can, regurgitate and eat more fish! The cormorant must be controlled!

The negative effects of this bird could significantly out weigh its advantages

I would very much like the Cormorants In the Great Lakes Region, to be culled if not eradicated . Thank you.

It is time to fiX this ongoing issue with these birds. They're harming our fishery.

They are a big nuisance
