(Save OUR Fish) Cormorant Population Control needed throughout the U.S.

Stop the cormorants from eating the fish we help stock

Yes this should be done, not only for fish but for population control in general.

The destruction of fish population is unbelievable current resident of Houghton lake Mi. One used to be able to go fishing on the lake and catch a dinner of panfish an occasional walleye and often pike. Today you can sit out on the lake for hours, often without a bite. Long past time to reduce their numbers.

Control of these birds is an immediate concern. A bird that eats 2-5 pounds it's own wright PER DAY with no regulation can, in small flocks, decimate a area in days.

Cormorants have been out of control for years, please save our fishing and tourism

i've been fishing with the kids and grandkids and have watched hundreds of these vermin land on perch grounds blackening the water for 1/4 mile and feast for an hour or so then move on to another and repeat. also if you look at the Little Charty island in Saginaw bay in the summer it looks like a ghost island, void of any vegetation from these birds droppings. get rid of ALL of them !

It is time to protect our sport fishing industry! The record numbers of these birds are destroying our forage fish and perch populations.

We need population control for these Birds!

Please bring back Cormorant population control. Fishing in Michigan is a huge economy stimulant and good perch and walleye fishing is right at the top of the list. Cormorants have devastated the perch population in the eastern region of Michigan. I’ve seen a tremendous change in my 65 years and it is discouraging and depressing to see the huge flocks of Cormorants on Saginaw Zaby, knowing they are feasting on our game fish. To many birds eating r fish I see hundred thousands of them when out fishing

We need to control the Cormorants! Their population is out of control, and harming our fishery!

I see thousands of cormorants flying out on Saginaw Bay and eating schools of fish every day during the summer while I am fished. They need to be brought in check before they decimate the the excellent fishery we have
