(Save OUR Fish) Cormorant Population Control needed throughout the U.S.

Please reduce the population of these birds.

Stop this invasive bird...kill them & the eggs

I have a place in Les Cheneaux Islands Cedarville, MI. I have witnessed the destruction of the environment and devastation of the perch fishery within the islands. These birds are an invasive species and at the very least control or reduce their populations or better yet eliminate them.

Please cut down the cormorant population!! They are killing the fishing in the Great Lakes!! Especially around ludington!! They are eating the planted fish as fast as they are planted!! It’s such a waste of money if we are just planting to feed these vultures!!

There needs to be a hunting season to control the numbers they are getting as bad as coyotes.

Please, let’s be reasonable and reduce the Cormorants that have invaded our Beautiful Great Lakes. TU in advance!

The overpopulation of cormorants is devastating our fish populations, not only in the Great Lakes States, but elsewhere on inland lakes too. Please allow a population control effort to move forward.

I live along Lake Michigan, and also have a lakefront home 20 miles inland south of Manitowoc. I have witnessed hundreds of Cormorants devastate the 16 acre lake. Each bird probably ate 3 to 5 fish each. While waterfowl hunting thousands of them filled the skies along Lake Michigan. Seemingly far more of them than ducks. There nesting grounds are now a breeding ground to the next virus devastating nearly all shore birds

Let’s stop lowering our limits and limit the amount the cormorants take

We need a hunting season to control the population of these birds just as we do for other waterfowl
