(Save OUR Fish) Cormorant Population Control needed throughout the U.S.

I have witnessed the effects of the cormorants after salmon have been released into the river. The day following the release the river is completely full of these birds gorging on this easy meal.

Help us make Michigan a great fishery again

Let’s deal with this issue!

I think there should be an open season on them. They eat so many of our fish in the great Lakes.

Something has to be done.. last fall I seen a line of double crested cormerants that came from ohio to Michigan had to be over a million birds.. imagine what that many birds are consuming in a season.. bye bye perch and any other fish in there path..

Time to save the fish. These birds are everywhere and need to have population controlled.

Cormorants need to be added to the Waterfowl season to control their unchecked population they’re eating 77 million pounds of fish per year from the Great Lakes region. It’s time we start eating the cormorants for a change as they eat all our fish and I will do my part as a waterfowl hunter and follow all the necessary regulations that will be set in place

Let's save our fish , if not for us how about for our kid's and our Grandkids .

Please do something to control the out of control corromants.

Seen them a lot in U.P.

These birds have been destroying the land and water for 20 years save the fish and the land.

fishing on the great lakes, I have seen so many of these birds, and how they dive in the water for the fish, they are lined up in the trees, covering the trees, and there are way too many

Fix this problem before it's too late. Can't remember last time I seen good perch in Lake Michigan. Seen the birds eat a lot though!

The perch population is being decimated by these rats with wings.

Have been watching these birds for years eating fish while Duck Hunting.

Cormorant numbers are exploding at the detriment of game and non game fish species! Significant investments of time and money go into rearing and stocking fish and the cormorants decimate them. They have grown bold in the face of harassment and the flare guns simply cause them to move to a different tree.
