Ridiculous numbers, there needs to be some regulation

I have seen the impact these birds can have on the ecosystem, it's devastating. Not only do they effect (devastate) fish populations of many species, their guano is so acidic that it kills all vegetation on islands and shores where they nest. If we want to keep our great fisheries and our pristine shorelines, the population of the double breasted cormorant needs to be put in check and measure taken to keep them in check. PLEASE

The number of comorants over the past decade has just exploded...their impact on lakes are being felt, without a doubt.
