Disgusting that we should lose a public field for a handful of elite that play cricket. This field is used by many people for dog walking, exercise classes and yearly sledging! I walk my dog there all the time and have made many doggy friends!

This green space is used by so many people. It's a safe place where kids can play football. Run around, people can walk their dogs. And before pupils say 99% pick up after there dogs and if u donot it should be a £3000 fine

It’s a local community filed for god walkers and sledging for children plus there is a right of way across the field - utter nonsense

They’ve already fenced off the walkway at the bottom. Kids use this for sledding & dog walkers meet here. Surely this field should be for everybody to enjoy

This is such a bad decision for local residence , this field has been used for years and is a great family area.

I am concerned that given it being council owned land, and not a cricket pitch, it adversely impacts upon available green space for the local community. Generations of families have used and enjoyed this space. The obvious corruption between North Tyneside Council and Whitley Bay Cricket club will not be tolerated any longer by our community.

The cricket field is a cut through to a public pathway that leads yo the hrsez field, so fencing the field would be restricting public access

This field is used so much especially sledging when snowing. If you take that away, where can they go that is safe for them? There has never been issues so why change something that doesn't need changing and wasting money that could be used to fix the club house

Save our field for our children who play during the school holidays and during winter months.
Leave it for everyone to use
