This would be a real shame to take away such natural beauty and replace it with man made mess!

I live in Speirs Road, where the traffic is already congested due to parents collecting children from school. To add heavy plant machinery into this already busy road is madness. I am for greener environments however this will be a nightmare and devalue my property

Leave the waterfall alone,we were not aloud to put steps in for a salmon leap 20 years ago so why put a power station there

Why can't local beauty spots be left as is and not have to be turned into money making ventures

I always take any of my visitors to see this as somewhere local to me which introduces them to Scotland. I live in Lochwinnoch.

This has been a local beauty spot for all of my life and long before it. It should remain as it is.

Good friends live opposite the waterfall. The area is beautiful rural area. We love visiting and enjoy the waterfall and the river. The other ideas of creating renewable energy in the area are more viable and are incorporated into an already built environment. Renewable energy sources need to be viable and not just jumping on a band wagon!!
