Please don't get rid of the Fairy Dell. It's iconic and part of Skegness's heritage.

I have been coming here since i was a child, i now bring my daughters here and we spend many happy hours here. It is one of the few things left that is free. It is always busy when we go, there are many people that would miss it.

My family and friends love the fairy dell, I have been going since I was a child and my children now enjoy it every summer. We wouldn't bother visiting skegness if it were to go! I would however be more than willing to pay a small entrance fee to help towards its upkeep if it were to stay.

A nice area for children to play safely and for parents and grand parents to sit on the grass and relax as well.

I was born in Great Steeping and lived there for 19 years. I am now in Nottingham and want my grandchildren to visit the Fairy Dell. I have very fond memories (and photos!) of me at the Fairy Dell, a very safe and exciting facility for children and families. |Council cuts are taking away many wonderful services and this is definitely one of them.

The idea of closing Fairy Dell is an outrage. This is a much loved and much used part of Skegness. The little ones love it.

I grew up in Skegness. This is a wonderful facility, families visit from miles around to spend the day there in the summer, helping local businesses etc. I have read the full article, & the council are looking to save money across the whole of the sea front. They are also looking at the bowling greens etc. These facilities are the last remaining traditional attractions. Strip these out & Skegness is truly a plastic arcade throughout. It's true Skegness needs a face lift. This isn't the way to do it. Try putting some of the of traditional attractions back. Starting with the pier. Look for investment from outside businesses. Put Skegness back on the map.

Please leave this beautiful place as it is ! In the world we live in nothing much is free, this paddling pool gives families time to enjoy themselves and make happy memories without having to pay to enjoy themselves. Children need places like this to play freely outside and to make friends. Please think before you take this away from them.

Children love the fairy Dell. I went as a child too. Such a shame if this goes ahead! Please listen to the people!
