Please, please keep fairy dell open. It is a wonderful facility for skegness and one that I have used for my children, and now i am using it for my grand children and they love it. Fairy Dell is what skegness is all about, fun for our children. Please keep it.

The Fairy Dell was the highlight of our day when we visited Skeggy last August. We would be very upset if it was taken away!

It would be tragedy if this closed I use to go there as a child and then I took my niece and nephew. My best friend comes all the way from Leicester with her grandchildren just to go to the fairy dell. There isn't much left in Skegness that's iconic and this is the one remaining thing that's special and gives people a lot of very special memories. I understand that cuts need to be made but why do you cut things that attract people to Skegness.

I live in wales, in the 50's my Gran took me and my cousin to Skeggy from Woodhall Spa for a holiday. I have fond memories of spending most days at the Fairy Dell. I found this site by accident after thinking that it was something in my imagination. I would very much love to go there again but it is too far away I am now looking for old pictures of it

I think it should be saved. It has been part of Skegness & local children grew up with it. It is also a nice place to take young children both locals & holidaymakers. Keep it!!!!!!!

We need to keep the Fairy Dell so our children's children can experience the fun and laughter that we had as a child - let's work together to save thew Fairy Dell!

I have lived in Skegness all my life , and have watched ELDC slowly bleed Skegness dry and sell the best bits of our beloved town to fund other parts or ELDC. Come on Skegness council, stand up to ELDC and save what is left of Skegness history before its to late!

Dear ELDC, carparks are no good if you keep destroying the few attractions that remain in Skegness. The resort is dying and ELDC are responsible in part for that fact.

My brother and I spent many happy hours during the fifties at the Fairy Dell - one of the most memorable icons in Skegness - on a par with the Jolly fisherman! Should be saved like other landmarks
