Pleas don't demolish another part of our history and heritage - remember the corn exchange/regal cinema demolished for modernisation - please don't let this happen again with another historical building

Agree with the comments in "Save our drill hall!". Could the building be saved and converted into apartments instead of demolition and new buildings.

If maintenance had been kept up[ over the years it wouldn't have got into the state it has. Shame on you! Do some good with it and make it worth while please.

We were attracted to move to Wellingborough in part by the fine period buildings in the town centre and it would be a shame to lose the Drill Hall. Surely it can be incorporated into the new development as has been done in many other places with heritage buildings. Once knocked down it is gone forever and unique character is lost.

I feel that the drill hall ought to be retained and incorporated into any new development. The retention of the towns heritage is important

this town has lost some wonderful buildings in the past due to short sighted official vandalism (i.e.the corn exchange) have they learnt nothing!

Although I appreciate things must move on, there are certain buildings which must be preserved to protect our heritage to show future generations.

It's dereliction has been 'engineered' by the council so they have an excuse to pull it down. They must be stopped!

We have lost far too many buildings over the past 50 years that represented the history of Wellingborough, please don't leave us without any heritage. The ironstone buildings are part of our towns identity, they will still look far more attractive in another 50 years unlike the "Swansgate" centre which is ugly, dated and soulless. Please listen to your electorate!!

There are few areas left in the town that have so many ironstone buildings in such close proximity to each other. The richness of the stone gives great character to the architecture and modern builds are so sterile that they lack this character.
