The dogs aren't dangerous... they are the innocent lives who are just trying to live.. all lives matter. Even the animals too.... they are just minding their own buisness.. they are not creating any political parties or something. They are just some normal lives

Hon’ble Mayor
Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC)
Dhaka, Bangladesh
Subject: Request to Stop the Illegal Removal of Dogs
Hon’ble Mayor,
I am a citizen of Dhaka City and a student. I am writing to you in protest of DSCC’s illegal action of removing stray dogs to Matuail landfill by the DSCC. I am distressed and extremely concerned by reports in the media about the mistreatment and illegal removal of stray dogs by the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) in the process of which even some collared dogs have been removed.
I am at a loss to understand why the DSCC has taken such a step without obtaining all the information. More importantly, the removal of these stray dogs is a violation of Section 7 of the Animal Welfare Act 2019, which prohibits the killing and removal of any animals including stray dogs. I am at a loss to understand why DSCC has taken such an illegal and unethical step, especially when (according to newspaper reports) the Dhaka North City Corporation is using humane, scientific and legal ways of dealing with stray dogs.
With the methods which are being reportedly used now, the dogs in South Dhaka will be left to survive on their own in the Matuail landfills, a garbage dump, which in time will lead to their deaths and endanger people and communities nearby. This is extremely inhumane, unethical and will not resolve the problem of controlling dog population. Scientific evidence suggests that dogs move in packs and sterilized and vaccinated dogs prevent the occurrence and spread of rabies. Dogs also provide security in neighborhoods by guarding shop fronts and homes, and comfort street children who have no one. There are efforts underway through private initiatives that are gradually working to control the population and potential spread of diseases.
As our mayor, I trust you to listen to citizens such as myself. Dhaka’s ecology and environment deserve your attention and these
