If a member of the public treated a dog this badly they would be held accountable. No more FNDC

It’s not ok for SPCA to hassle people when you try but unable to get a dog house or your dog destroy them cause he’s teething. Knowing he’s well looking after, they should focus on dogs been mistreated or roaming and looking starving. As for the dog pound I agree whole heartedly that something needs to be done for both facilities Pound & SPCA

All pounds are governed by the law of NZ as are all citizens. So buck up and comply as I'm sure the alternative is unaffordable. Animals need appropriate housing just like humans. Animals are reliant on humans to provide this. Humans have a responsibility to animals morally and legally.

This brakes my heart. These people are meant to be helping animals not destroying them.

I don't know that council or their policies, but every dog deserves a chance. Humans are responsible for breeding and neglecting them. Surely euthanasia should be the last resort.

Totally support this. It’s not the dogs fault that some humans SUCK!
