coldean needs our doctors surgery . We can be quite isolated with an irregular bus service . The surgery is the best we've ever had and I have lived here for68 years . Also we've had no notification to date .

we need a surgery that opens 5 days a week. A lot of people do not drive who use the surgery and when your feeling ill its the last thing you want to do is drive! Please reconsider this action. NL surgery is a very important part of our community and so are the lovely receptionists who take our calls.

As former Councillor of our ward I am absolutly appalled by this measure. Our Elderly will find it very difficult to travel to Carden. New Larchwood Surgery is popular, always filled and what our village Coldean needs. I am angry on this!

There was no consultation on this and alot of people heard by word of mouth or at the very last minute.
How are people who are feeling ill or have a child or elderly relative supposed to get to Carden surgery with no transport?
With just 2 mornings open a week patients will not be able to get an appointment and This week after easter there is only a few hours on the Wednesday morning to book an appointment so even worse.
This has not been thought through for the good of people in the local community.
Myself and my husband are very unhappy about it as are most of the people in Coldean who use this surgery.

This is a purely selfish decision made by the practice to make their life easier .
The surgery has enough patients to support it .
As yet I have not even received a notification about this from the surgery , I’m only aware because of social media .
Not so Caring or compassionate!
With the new development being built one has to wonder where these people will register

I especially registered at New Larchwood, as I want to have a local Surgery where I can walk too in case I need to see someone.

To reduce such a vital part of Coldean's infrastructure just as we are expecting over 500 new residents with the new Housing Development on Coldean Lane is sheer madness. Also, those who do not drive will have to negotiate an intermittent bus service (every 20 mins if we're lucky) to get to Carden Surgery on the days when New Larchwood is closed!

Please reconsider your proposal as this will affect many elderly folk who can not have an easy time travelling to carden surgery

Many people like myself will have a variety of reasons why travelling for a GP appointment will be very difficult. Those who don't drive, the elderly, disabled & so on. I do drive but when i see the GP it is almost always for my MH disorder & during those times I don't drive & wouldn't be able to use public transport. This change will cause a lot of anxiety & problems for the residents of Coldean!
