As an educator this is very upsetting. This is not a business this is a community of families. Children first.

Michelle has been a wonderful leader at the school. She has been very supportive of my family since we arrived to Denver for the past three years. She has helped my daughter settle in which was important given her ADHD. She also helped set up tutoring for her in prep for her bat mitzvah.

How devastating this is to our community and to my family. The only thing that was getting my child to Confirmation next year is now gone. He will be devastated as am I. This is not a corporation this is a Jewish community that should be run with the same values that Michelle as instilled in all of her staff to teach to our students. If someone wants to see change then work with the person who has been a mentor, leader, friend, and support system to so many of us to make the changes you want, do not just toss someone out who has give over twenty years of their life to our community. This is not acceptable. I will be there on the 9th.

Michelle is the *only* staff member who actually knows me and my family. She clearly cares for our kids and was more informative on my daughter's progress through the years than some of her teachers were.
What is the purpose behind this decision??

Very strong supporter of Michelle, The program at Sinai has improved during her tenure. I think this decision needs more thoughtful discussion, It seems like a rush to judgment, a foregone conclusion.

She is a true leader. If Sinai loses her it would be a true loss. The only saving grace is that someone would have a chance to truly utilize her talents.

Michelle is a supportive, caring and compassionate Education Director. She is deeply committed to her job and to the community she works with and for. Terminating her is not only uncalled for, it's stupid. There is no replacement for Michelle and letting her go will mean trouble for the temple. If Michelle is let go, I will very very seriously reconsider working at Temple Sinai. She is an amazing boss and does not deserve to be ousted when all she does is work to make things better for this community.

If Michelle Schwartz is no longer at Temple Sinai, I do not see a reason to stay here. She is the one person who through the years has encouraged my children to continue with their religious studies. This decision is not in the best interest of our congregation.

I am fully against the termination of Michelle Schwartz as Education Director. My family moved here 5 years ago and Michelle is and continues to be the singular person who has welcomed me to this community. My oldest would of dropped out after 9th grade if it wasn't for Michelle. She has always supported my girls and my families needs, well beyond anyone in this organization and I might go as far to say she is what has kept us as members. No one else has cared. If she goes, I will be rethinking my families presence as well. Consider this, she knows our names and can have a conversation with me, the Rabbi has introduced himself to me on 5x. Who cares??? I do.
