I have known Jeff Jenkins for over 25 years. He is an honest and hard working fellow. He provides a valuable service to the community. He also prevents people from using the transformer station's gravel parking area as a dumping ground and keeps the area clean. Please don't shut down Crieve Hall Firewood!

We've been purchasing wood from this location for over 15 years. It's a great neighborhood service that should be preserved!

Keep our wood pile !!! Count on the Nabors support. We're behind what is and has been a staple of our Crieve Hall neighborhood.

Jeff is carrying on a local tradition, and provides a valuable service. I wasn't aware of the benefit that area homeless receive as a result of his low cost firewood for local camps. The location of this wood pile is unobtrusive and can be accessed from the NES property. Perhaps the wood piles can be relocated there or a drive provided through the NES gravel lot? Certainly there must be some compromise that can be reached?!?

We provide a firewood service for needy families in the Richmond Va area. This type of service should be ENCOURAGED and not targeted for elimination.

Jeff & Mr. Russell before him provide such a great service to the community! It would be difficult to find another place that has such fairly priced firewood & people who are such a pleasure to interact with!

Jeff Jenkins is a good man doing a good service for our community. Please allow him to continue doing so. He also provides another service that will go untended if he is forced to leave, namely, that he watches over the place without being compensated by NES to be sure that their gravel parking area and adjacent easement do not become an easy dumping ground for passers by to dispose of old mattresses, couches, tires and other nuisance garbage. That service in itself is valuable enough to make allowing him to continue his presence there worthwhile.

This guy provides a worthwhile community service. By taking the wood from NES contractors and other tree trimming companies, he diverts wood from filling up the landfills. He doesn't take advantage of the firewood buyers because he knows he's getting the wood cheap so he sells it cheap. His stock piles are always neat clean and orderly. I can't imagine why anyone had a problem with this.

Would be very sad to see a great business and resource shut down. It is a Crieve Hall institution.

Please don't shutdown this firewood operation - many people all over Nashville rely on this firewood for heat in the winter.
