What? We are the members, we pay racquet full membership. How dare dl make decisions that affect players like that! You hire out to dance schools, we cannot get served food at bar, you run kids parties, we cannot get served and have kids running onto tennis courts, you give free entrance to Lure new guests but the paying members cannot get courts or find a sun bed. Start running it for us! Save those squash courts!

Disgusting decision with no consultation with members whatsoever and only giving us a months notice when we have to give you 3 months notice to get out of our contract . You have broken our contract we signed up to a rackets membership 121/2 years ago and have remained loyal to you with your ever increasing prices because my husband can play squash and I can use the gym facilities and children can use the pool all under one roof . If there’s no squash then we will be leaving .

Are racquet members going to get a reduced subscription? We pay more for for now even less

If you cared about your members you would save our squash courts

I am absolutely gutted they are knocking down the squash courts to make way for a new ‘fad’ studio! Squash is well documented to be the best form of exercise per hour!!

The squash courts are part of Raquets memberships. If you remove these the price for Racquets should be amended accordingly

Racket members pay the highest premium and yet we are penalised again by giving up our facilities to the gym

This is a disgrace, the squash courts at David Lloyd are one of the main reasons I am a member. Lose them and they will lose my custom

The closure of just one squash court is one too many.

Please keep DL as a rackets club. By all means try new classes but not at the expense of a competitive, social sport.

Poorly thought through decision. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss with the new club manager. Could you also publish the timeframe around the closure.

Disappointed that a sports complex known for racket sports feels the need to follow fads and short lived gym classes at the cost of loyal, longterm members. My family will be going elsewhere.

Very disappointed in DL for removing the squash courts for a new trial gym activity. You call yourselves a Racquets club?... very poor decision and disgraceful actions for not consulating with any members for the change. Keep the sport ALIVE...

If rackets sports are going to reduced , so should membership for racket members.
