I am appalled in a time that the world needs music the most that the world would turn away an institution that nurtures young artists of tomorrow..

Mount royal university was definitely my first step of studying abroad, prof. Van Der sloot and prof. Katz gave us so many opportunities and support there. And that place was also like the beginning of my classical music dream. Subsequently, PLEASE save the conservatory of Mount royal university.

Mount Royal Conservatory is a superior training ground of musical excellence for all ages from infancy to adulthood. I experienced this first-hand as a former Early Childhood Kodaly Musicianship Program instructor and co-ordinator. It would be such an immense loss to all music students and society to see its programming and any further staff abolished !

How can that be possible? The administrtators cannot read all the experts who write about the importance of music education? Are they that stupid, really?

It would be a crime to see these phenomenal teachers summarily terminated like this, and a major, difficult to reverse, blow to the fine institution of MRU conservatory. The decision should be rescinded.

The Morningside Music Bridge was the very first music summer summer school I attended. I had the privilege to study with top notch professors alongside with Jan Lisiecki and Nikki Chooi, who are now among the most sought after Canadian Classical musicians. Why is the MRU board doing this? Mount Royal Conservatory is one of the top music schools in Canada and they want to dismiss it just like that? Please reconsider this decision!

Extraordinary stupdity by the Board of Governors of MOunt Royal University. Note the impact when the same thing happened at Australia's National University in Canberra (ANU) School of Music. The fallout was precipitous and calamitous for the instigators in the end.

Hello. My instruction in violoncello, offered at the Conservatory by Mr. John Kadz, has been instrumental in my becoming a professional conductor. I have conducted all over Canada and conduct the San Francisco Symphony. This is a DIRECT result of his instruction and care. Please do not destroy this amazing Conservatory, a gem in the crown of Calgary's cultural scene.

Absolutely in shock that a program like this is being shut down. I had hoped to see so many others experience the amazing experiences I did through my music education through the conservatory!

I hope you pay attention to the voices from all over the world. This is wrong on every level. Not only will these undeserved personally aggressive actions destroy our program, they will also forever stain MRU's reputation. The conservatory will lose students, faculty, world class guest artists and worst of all, the faith with which the public has entrusted you. John and Bill are pioneers of high level education and excellence. You are urgently needed as leaders and guardians of MRU's integrity. Please rectify this mistake.
