SAVE OUR COASTAL TRAIL

As a former Capistrano Beach resident, (now in San Juan) this area has been so special. Please preserve the area for all of us who have enjoyed it over the years and even for those who just drive by and appreciate it.

Save our Beach and Doheny Trail!!

I don’t live in Capo Bach any more but I have great memories of my 20 years there. Much has changed since then. We can’t stop the beach loss, but we can preserve the trail link for the community.

This precious segment of our coast must be preserved and protected. It is our responsibility to ensure that our coastal resources and access remain open and accessible today and for future generations.

Please preserve the iconic path between Capo Beach and Doheny Beach! We use it almost everyday! We bike along it and jog on it as we enjoy the beautiful stretch of coastline beneath our house. Thank you for your efforts to preserve the path and our use of these beaches!

Please our coastal trail

The trail between Capistrano and Doheny is vital to the recreation use in the area. Personally our family and friends use it multiple times every week for exercise. We walk, run and bike on the path year round. It is a social event using the trail and connects people and reminds everyone of the importance of saving this trail for future generations

The Coastal Development Permit must be approved to mitigate coastal erosion until a Master Plan is complete. Preservation of public access to the beach, pedestrian safety and the use of a historic beach trail are at stake.

Please help facilitate saving this coastal trail for the residents of South Orange County. It is much used and a beloved access to one of our finest public assets.

Hopefully the CCC will let the County do what it can to preserve this historically significant beach.

As a owner / resident in Dana Point, I am endorsing this petition for approval of the CDP to the California Coastal Commission. This to preserve access to the Park and its trails while a more comprehensive plan is developed. Feizal Waffarn

Our beach is valued by so many of our residents including me. I walk to our capistrano beach nearly every day. Please act to preserve it!

This trail is imperative for the health and safety of our community and visitors to our community. Most importantly it is a priority for the health and safety of our children, who grow up having safe access to their beach and the ability to safely venture out on their own via bike or walking to their jobs as lifeguards in Doheny, at the ocean institute, working and volunteering at the kiosk, concerts in the park, surfing etc

These are our homes and beach! Save our trail and Beach Road!!!!
