This trail was a vital part of my recovery when I was handicapped and could only walk flat surfaces. Day after day, I walked with my dog to have the ocean waves and salt spray breeze relieve my pain ridden body and spirit. For so many it is a vital part of our healthcare and everyday sanity.

Save this trail, it is such a special place to me and a true gem on the way to San Clemente. The bike ride through Doheny where all the campers are parked is exhilarating and makes it that much more fun to get to Capo and then San Clemente. I realize my favorite spot of all time, the Capo Beach Basketball courts were deemed unsafe and unable to be rebuilt, but to have to risk my life on the main road is frightening.

Action needs to be taken! They let this erosion go for so long that a beach that used to be wide enough for 3 beach volleyball courts with room left over for sunbathers is gone. After the walking path, it's not much further to the train tracks.
