I love this place. So many great people and many happy nights spent in the club. I was presented with my third, fourth, fifth and sixth Fantasy Football league titles at the Martyrs.

It would a shame to lose this hub of the local community

This has been a well loved community resource and it needs to remain. Closing it actively contributes to the demise of the parish. The people who frequent it are the heart beat of the church

The English Martyrs club is too important to the local and extended community to lose. The continued existence of this vital social support to a wide range of people of all ages is far more important than any financial factor that may be involved in its closure.

Thursday nights would never be the same without the trip to the Martyrs. A unique relaxing atmosphere, great staff and club.

Thanks for your support Maria. I remember the C.C.C. it was a great night where Mike & Tom had to spend the night in the club looking after the marque . I wonder was the bar still shut !
