Newquay does not need any more houses!! Especially not at the expense of natural beauty that cannot be replaced! The cliffs will be ruined, habitats will be ruined! Surely the coastal path belongs to everybody? Not a few rich enough to buy their 2nd homes and leave them empty no doubt.

Outrageous! Coastal footpaths should never be altered except by nature.

sed all year round by LOCALS! Given the location I feel that locals will not benefit from this 'development' in any way. I think it safe to assume that no locals will be able to afford to purchase/ rent these properties and you only need to look at how many of the Fistral developments are undersubscribed to realise that premium coastal housing stock is not what Newquay needs. Cornwalls main strength is its natural beauty and accessible coast line. This for Newquay I am certain, attracts a more divergent cross section of people to visit meaning more people get to benefit from those tourists rather than a single shortsighted, short term developer.

Another example of trying to destroy Cornwall to flip a quick buck.

Cynical land grab: I oppose this greed. Redevelopment possible without affecting coastal path. Council need to stand up to protect natural assets, as overdevelopment will devalue local environment.

This vote is to oppose the rerouting of this coast path just to increase profit for the developer.
