Families depend on these services

Hurting the lives of persons with disabilities is morally wrong and in the long run, will not save our state any money.

These are services that my son needs as well.

Please do not take these services from the People I love the most and other like them.

What they are trying to do if it isn’t already should be illegal!!!

Keeping funding for self directed care and disability services are imperative to keeping people with intellectual disabilities in their homes where they are cared for and safe. Being able to have PA in their homes and being able to attend day habilitation programs keeps the individual engaged in their communities and able to grow in independent living skills. Families depend on these services. These services keep families together. They are the lifeline needed. We as a society have a responsibility to care for our vulnerable, out children, elderly, and disabled.

Please don’t go backwards. Those with special needs can do more than anyone can imagine. I I have always said that you don’t know how much someone can do if give them the opportunity. That includes post graduation also. Please don’t take away what is needed to give people the best quality of life. This is expensive to give those just the basics for their lives. Believe me, the basic for healthcare is expensive! So please help those (parents, care givers, etc). Please help those help their loved one yt

Please reconsider cutting funding for the most vulnerable in our society. it doesn't just affect them it affects the whole family and everyone trying to support them in the community. the loss of income will be huge for care providers who are not being given benefits and will make it hard for them to stay healthy enough to take care of others. I will not be able to hire anyone to take care of my severely disabled child who requires constant care. this will make it even harder to take care of my other children and responsibilities which will in turn affect my husband's ability to stay at work. Making vulnerable families and individuals in the community more vulnerable will only cost more in the long run. Please consider supporting and bolstering up programs for those trying to help others and those trying to help themselves. I much rather see my son be able to reach his full potential and give back to the community in what ways he can. than be a burden in some facility. Thank you for your time and consideration.

This will effect my uncle who has a TBI due to a car accident 20+ years ago and this would hurt his staff financially in a pretty big way

As someone who has worked with this population, this is INSANE! These pervious souls and their families NEED support.

We need to do the right thing here. And keep this service going. It would be hard for my son to live without this program

If this passes this would devastate so many lives that rely on this just to have a somewhat normal life. This is what gives my son independence and the ability to fill normal that's what anyone wants out of life and to be able to make that decision on who takes care of him.

This will severely negatively impact my son’s life, my life, and everyone in my family. Please look to make cuts somewhere else.
