This is a train wreck for people trying to provide a life for special needs people. These cuts will put more people on assistance programs for housing, food and utilities. Do not cut these programs. Your just creating a bigger, more expensive problem.

I am a support coordinator who sets the individuals up in my community with the SDS services. The service services are instrumental and keeping individuals in their natural homes while offering families the option of hiring staff. This is essential in keeping these individuals who do not need to be in residential settings in their natural homes.

Please stop cutting funding to essential programs that assist the disabled. My grandson has level 2 and 3 autism. He will need assistance throughout his life. Thank you, Audrey

I am fighting for myself and my grandchildren. I'm level 2 and have been denied services. My grandchildren are at risk if you don't act. These are vital for my family, especially my daughter as she navigates the care for my grandson.

Self directed services has been so valuable for our family. It gives us consist staff who are trained. Unlike before where it is a revolving door of individuals not trained as the case with non self direction service providers. Self directed services gives us the opportunity for outstanding progress with our son. He is developing great skills now that has allow him to engage in the community as well as be in supported employment.

Protect SDS services they are crucial for individuals who require help to stay safe. Cutting these services would be devastating to the disabled community and their families. Cutting services lacks ethical morality. You are paid to represent your constituents and you need to actually represent
